Hello, my please assist. My nb505-n500bl will not pick up booting from a usb flash drive  even though the boot order is correct and I created the bootable usb using the microsoft usb/dvd download tool. the initial windows 7 starter crashed and I'm upgrading to windows 7 home premium. Pls help........

I'm not sure how to advise you on that. But I can assure you that the best way to upgrade from Starter to Home Premium is not to install it.

Rather you should restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media and upgrade using Windows Anytime Upgrade. It takes only a few minutes. All the Toshiba drivers and utilities are properly loading and working.

   Upgrade to another edition of Windows 7 by using Windows Anytime Upgrade
