Toshiba Service Station

I started recieving a message "Toshiba Service Station has stopped working".  Is this a big problem, and is there any way to fix it?  I have tried the find a solution online but, nothing seems to happen.  No message telling me no solution found or anything.

Re: Toshiba Service Station

Please include your full model number when posting problems on the forums. It can be found on the bottom of your laptop.

Did it just start happening? Try using System Restore to restore a previous restore point from before this became an issue.

Re: Toshiba Service Station

The computer is a Satellite A665 S6051.  It started happening about a week ago.  Since then we have added new programs and information.  Is there possible another solution without doing a restore point?  Will a uninstall and reinstall possibly fix the problem?  Also is the Service Station necessary?  I'm not exactly sure what it does.

Maybe this one, Kathy?

Doing this kind of System Restore won't hurt.

And you might try reinstalling the errant program.

I notice that many users here don't like Service Station and remove it. They prefer to visit the Toshiba site from time to time and check the Support Bulletins.
