I bought my Satellite, Special Edtion, A305 (unsure of the rest of the numbers) back in 2008. When I first got it, the webcam worked just fine. The last time I used it was about a year ago, and when I went to use it the other day, it wasn't working. It said I either needed to restart my camera, or my computer. Well, I restarted my computer and it did nothing. I have no idea how to restart my camera and I don't remember a disc coming with the computer when I got it for the webcam. How do I fix this problem?

You restart your camera by going to Start/Programs/Toshiba/Utilities/Web Camera Application. Your full model number is located on a label on the bottom of the machine and looks something like A305-XXXXX.

Tell us your FULL model number please along with the Operating System you are using. Also Go to Device Manager and double click on Imaging Devices and tell us what you see there.

First, try reinstalling the Web Camera Utility located here: http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/do
