I recently did a full recovery with disc supplied by Toshiba, but when I did a Windows update it did not install any of the service packs, and when I try to do it manually it gives me an error. Toshiba A135-S447.

Maybe this one?

Too hard to guess the error message. You better give it to us. We need the exact message. Please attach a picture.
Did it install any other Windows updates?
You didn't change the hard drive, right?

Waiting for answers to my questions..
1. What is the model number of your computer?
2. Did you install any other Windows updates?
3. Is this a new hard drive?
when I try to do it manually...
And this additional question.
4. Does that mean you downloaded the full Service Pack 1? Or what?
Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Five Language Standalone
Note that SP1 is a prerequisite for SP2..
Please make sure that your system is running Service Pack 1 before you install Service Pack 2.

I cannot even get SP1
Not a new hard drive
Even tried Microsoft Fix it.
Have tried downloading with Windows Update, unable to download, and directly through MS website and I get the erro message I sent you previously.
It is downloading updates for office 2003, and security downloads. Just can't ger service packs to download.

What does that mean? I gave you the download URL.
Please tell me what happens. Make paragraphs. There's lots of room here.
Even tried Microsoft Fix it.
Which Microsoft Fix it? Send me to it.
