My guess is that the updates are failing for some reason. I'd suggest you contact Microsoft.

Which Satellite L645? There is a label on the bottom.
Open Windows Update (wuapp.exe) and click View update history (on the left side).
Do you see either of those two updates there (KB2656351 and KB2600217)?
09-21-2012 02:14 PM
Just satellite L645.
Yes, i see it. but some was successfully installed, but some failed. what must i do?
09-21-2012 02:36 PM
Just satellite L645
Then give us the part number. It looks something like PSK00U-05C02X.
If it's not on a label on the bottom, look here.
Start > All Programs > Toshiba > Utilities > PC Diagnostic Tool
some was successfully installed, but some failed. what must i do?
For each of the two failed updates, right-click it, click on Copy details, and paste that into your reply. It looks like the following.

What we are really after is the update identity (KB2310138 in this example) and the error (Code 80070670 in the above) of the recently failed updates.

Let's start here.
Error codes “0x80070643” or “0x643” occur when you install the .NET Framework updates

Still remind me to install windows update. ![]()
Looks like, there're something going wrong to my startup.
Flashcard, Webcam, and i don't know the others are not loading when my laptop turned on.

Still remind me to install windows update.
What does that mean? Remember, we can't see you. You need to explain with lots of words.
If there is still a failed update, try the following, reboot, and Windows update.
How do I reset Windows Update components?
If the failure problem continues, try this.

i'm sorry mr.jerry..
i mean the windows still give me notifications.
The method 1 was failed.

You don't show what you did to get that result in the picture. We cannot see you. Think about that when you tell us things.
Maybe this part?
attrib -h -s -r c:\windows\system32\catroot2
Be sure you are at an elevated command prompt.
09-26-2012 11:03 PM
Do you mean like this? :
09-27-2012 10:25 AM
I don't see an error message after any commands.
So the attributes were changed as requested. (You are removing the hidden, system, and read-only attributes, respectively, in those commands.)
09-28-2012 08:30 PM
Em, but the windows update notification remains?
09-29-2012 08:34 AM
Em?
We don't know what you've done. Have you completed everything here?
How do I reset Windows Update components?
Can't hurt to add Update websites to the firewall exceptions list.
If not fixed, try this too.
Fix the problem with Microsoft Windows Update that is not working
We don't know what you've tried until you tell us.
09-30-2012 06:47 PM
Yes Mr. Jerry..
I've tried all methods that you suggest to me.
Except "Windows Update error 80072efd", because i didn't receive Windows Update error 80072efd while checking for updates or Windows Update Services (SVCHOST) is allowed to access my internet connection.
And i've reinstalled the windows update and restarted my laptop But windows update notification remains.

Doesn't make any difference! Do you have a third-party firewall?
windows update notification remains.
Go here next.
Windows Update or Microsoft Update repeatedly offers the same update

"Doesn't make any difference! Do you have a third-party firewall?"
Maybe from my antivirus? Like Smart Firewall from Nortro Internet security.

I'm finished here. This is my final post.
Microsoft offers free assistance for failed updates and service packs by phone and email. But you may need to jump through some hoops.
1. Go here and click Windows Update fails while scanning for, downloading, or installing updates.
2. For security updates you should be able to get a Free Support Incident Report here. Click Get Support at the top.
Sometimes you encounter a Microsoft person who tells you that because you have an OEM version of Windows you need to contact Toshiba. If that happens, start over and deal with somebody else.
10-03-2012 12:01 PM
Thank you Mr. Jerry for your attention..
Maybe the last method, i have to re-installs my windows.
By the way, what is the meaning of OEM? I don't understand.
