I just bought a refurbished toshiba tecra m-3 and I'm trying to figure out how to change the brightness of the monitor,does anyone know how to do this? thanks.sj

PS,I am a newbie and this is my first post and everything I know about pc's could fit in a thimble.

I just hit the search and found out that you can press fn and then press f6 or f7,I tried but nothing changes.

You must hold down the Fn key while pressing the F6 or F7.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling these two Toshiba utilities in this order.

   Toshiba ACPI Common Modules for Windows XP/2000

   Toshiba Hotkey Utility for Windows XP/2000
