I have a satellite P745-S4217 unit. bought it a few months ago and have just recently found out that the WebCam and Internal Mic aren't working. I found this out whilst I was trying to use to chat via yahoo messenger. I've checked that the programs are installed and they are.
Can you somebody please help?

What does that mean Michael? How did you check? Where did you check? What exactly did you do?
Regardless, the easiest thing to do right now is to try to reload your Toshiba supplied drivers. But, we need to check on what sound card you have in your unit.
Click on the 'Start' button, type in dev, then click on 'Device Manager' and the top. Do you see any devices there with a yellow triangle on them. If so, what are they?
If not, click on the arrow beside 'Sound, video and game controllers', and tell us the name of the sound/audio card.
