Hi there:  I have Netbook 250.  I cannot find the webcam on this notebook.  What is the software that finds webcams on computers?

What makes you believe it includes a camera?

The Webcamera is right in front of me like in the same place most laptops have.  It's frustrating.

Hello:

I have a Toshiba netbook  - NB250.  It has a built-in webcam.  I can't find the software for the webcam or the webcam on my system.  It is there but can't open it or anything.  I reinstalled the drivers but still can't find the software.  A couple of years back I remember reading something about a programme you can download that searches your computer for "lost webcam software"  Can anybody assist me?  Thanks.

Windows 7 - 32 bit.

What makes me think I have a webcam?  Well above my screen it says Web Camera and it has a lens beside it.  Also Toshiba Spec sheet says how to operate webcam.

Look on the bottom of your netbook, on the Toshiba label, and tell us the full model number you have, like NB255-N240, also tell us the part number, like PLL2PU-00801F. As well, are you still running Windows 7 Starter 32bit edtion? Then, we might be able to help you.
