I don't know if there is a life span on TV's these days.  Does anyone know?  I was just very surprised when my Integrated High Def LCD died after 5-6 years.  And even more surprised when I took it to our little TV repair guy and he had 6 others sitting there with the same problem....all Toshiba's.
