32C100U says "Retail Lock" when trying to use menu

I have a model 32C100U in a customers home that says "Retail Lock" in red every time the customer tries to use the menu.  I've looked in all of the manuals & I can not find it anywhere.  Any help will be appreciated.

Try this and let me know what happens:

 

  1. Using the remote control, press the following button sequence in a timely fashion:   1, 2, 3, 4  (This will release the “Retail Lock” mode)
  2. Enter the Meun and locate Reset Factory Defaults. 
  3. Perform a Factory Defaults reset.
  4. Power on the TV.   NOTE: You will be prompted to perform the Fisrt Time setup.
  5. After setting the correct Time Zone Set the Location option to Home.
  6. Continue with the First Time setup.

is the code for retail lock,the same for a 39l2300u.it's stuck incolor stream 1. thanks denys tv
