I bought a Toshiba Tecra R840 Laptop yesterday from Sri Lanka. (Model No : PT42HL-00600C)
I found out that it's motherboard's Rev. is B2. Also I found out that both Toshiba & intel talks about a chipsetdesign issue ofintel 6 series chipset.

I used cpuz and Gigabyte 6 series sata check to determine the problem and found out that it is affected.(cpuz->mainboard->southbridge Rev->B2 & Gigabyte check says to change the configuration/ i.e affected)

I couldn't findout a single email address in the toshiba-asia site to drop an email, and finally I decided to write itdown here. So if anybody knows about this thing, can you help me out to solve this problem or even to check whether it is really affected?
