Just downloaded ICS update to my unrooted Thrive. Update took about 30 minutes. Everything seems to be running OK.

Update went well. Don't see how to get bookmarks out of the folder mode though.

Is the release of ICS also available in Canada? I have a Thrive 10 that I've been using in Canada since December 2011, and when checking the service station right now (time is 6:42 PM EST) I still see no update notification about a new release. ![]()
Can you let me know?

Just turned my tablet on and there it was!
So happy, I love my Thrive and appreciate the continuous efforts of your team to keep us updated and functioning.
Downloading now......
Now if I could get Verizon to update their android phones as quickly and efficiently as Toshiba, I would be a happy camper....but, that is another story......

Yes, you need to install all previous updates first. They are sequential, so you won't see the ICS update until you have gone through all previous ones. :-)

The update is there but I can't download it! Help!

Service Station > Download > Install. Make sure the Thrive is plugged in. I had no problems. Once the Thrive rebooted, wow, what a different look and feel. Thanks Toshiba.

I got the download halfway done, and it STOPPED. I had to start it over. The download is taking a really long time for some reason.
