Is there a way to easily perform a screen capture with my Thrive (3.2 honeycomb) that way I can with my iPhone and iPad ?

There are several screenshot apps on the google market, but all of the ones I'm familiar with require the tablet to be "rooted" to allow for special permissions to capture the screen.

I use my Thrive for work and can't do the root thing.

That's too bad. I was hoping I could hit the power button and volume down button or some combination like that.

Have not tried it but if you use Dolphin Browser you my want to look at  Dolphin Screen Cut on the market .

ICS has this feature built-in. Add it to the list of reasons Thrive needs to get ICS sooner than later.
