System Recovery and Recovery Media

I have toshiba satellite t135 that i did a complete recovery.It has windows 7, when it rebooted configuring system screen came on.I read that this could take hours to load,so i left it running over night.In the morning it looked as if it was done booting and rebooting,but now everytime i turn it off then on it starts the whole cycle again.Please help goin bonkers.

I too have the same issue. In fact I'm watching it happen right now. I bought the laptop today. I accidentally installed the 32 bit version (I wasn't paying attention). Then I created the recovery discs and installed the 64 bit version. 

Here is wat happened.

Says computer is starting up for first time...great.

Goes into windows, does the config system thing, restarts, does it again, restarts...

Keeps doing this for a while...

At times I'd see an odd driver installation happening.

Then it'd come to the point where the configuring system thing would keep happening. The status bar would reach the end, and start again. This just keeps going and going...

Why...

Yep I have the same problem. . I have now given up and bought a small USB mouse. I will keep looking for an answer though.
