My BIOS was updating via the windows application but the laptop hung up and restarted (duh!!!). Now quite understandably the laptop does boot up and doesnt even show anything on the screen when powered on (i guess the bios is corrupted).
I have found a few ways to reflash the bios using a floppy drive but the problem is that the laptop does not come with a floppy drive.
Can anyone recommend any way to reflash the bios with the floppy drive? possibly by formatting the usb as a floppy and booting? I have tried using the usb to reflash via the phoenix method here:
