Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5050 Recovery

I have a Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5050 and can not access the hard disk. I bought a recovery disk (actually 3 disks) from Toshiba and tried to recover to the original state as per instructions. Near beginning, I got Error: 08-OE89-0000, Partition Creation failed.  Please Press [OK] to turn off computer.

So I tried reinstalling the recovery disk again, again placing #1 disc into drive and powering up the computer while holding the "C" key down until Toshiba logo came onto screen.

This time I got Error: 08-OA4B-0000, Partition Creation failed.

It sounds like the hard disk needs drivers, but the Toshiba site needs you to connect your working computer to their site to automatically detect and download any drivers, which I can not do since the computer does not work at all.

Please help.  Thank you.

It isn't a driver issue. It sounds like hard disk has died. You'll need to contact support at (800) 457-7777.
