Toshiba Recovery Media for Windows 8

I got a new Toshiba Satellite C55-A and have been trying to create a back up of it as suggested in the quick start.  Every time I get to the point where I select the USB flash drive for it to create the back up and click on "create" it tells me to insert a USB flash drive that is 9 or more GB and I have already inserted a flash dri ve that is 32 GB's.  I have tried removing the flash drive and reinserting it to no avail.  Anyone else have this problem?  The flash drive is working alright as I copied a document to it from my other computer, put it in the Toshiba and was able to access it.  There seems to be something screwy with the Creating recovery media.  Help!

What brand USB are you using?

Some have had issues with the SanDisk brand not working with Toshiba recovery media creator. Most of them used another brand USB and it worked.

Thanks for the info.  Wouldn't you know that it is a SanDisk!
