My Laptiop says PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

I tried to turn on my laptop and it says

I have a Toshiba L645D Model #: PSK0QC-00K007

Check Cable connection

PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM

No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

I don't know what to do from here. I don't have any backup disks or recovery disks that came with my laptop. What do I need to do?

Satellite L645D-00K (PSK0QC-00K007)

Unless you have changed the boot-priority sequence in the BIOS, that indicates the BIOS cannot reach the hard disk (because it's trying to boot from a network). Typically, you need to replace the disk.

If you did not burn recovery discs to restore a new hard drive, you can order them. If a Toshiba service center replaces the drive, they will restore it for you.

   Locate a Toshiba Service Center
