It's probably best in your case to restore the computer to its original state after copying off all your important documents.

If you're not very handy with computers, I suggest you get some help locally.

I have a Satellite M105-S3051, I have had that problem 3 times in 3 years. Every time I have run across that problem it turned out to be a faulty mouse. I have decided that the retractable cords in "some" Notebook Mouse devices can't hold up to normal usage.

I found out how to get my pointer working.  and my screen was upside down......and i got that fixed also.........Thank you for everyone that tried to help me.............Cathy

Press Function + F9 to toggle the touchpad.  You probably disabled it on accident.
