I'm using Linux Pinguy from a USB stick. The machine is brand new purchased 2 months ago pre-installed with Windows 7. The problem is when the computer boots from the USB and runs Pinguy I'm unable to see my cable modem. The control panel in Linux does not see the modem, I can only connect to any public wi-fi, but I cannot find my modem. When I reboot and go back to getting online with Windows it works fine. Can anyone help?
