The issues were hammered out with nVidia Display Driver fixes. DA2 is NOT by far a demanding game. Just a porely optimized game that is now fixed when EA worked with nVidia to fix the driver problems.

Toshiba just came out with an nvidia driver: 296.18

I have the Qosmio X870 with nvidia drivers 296.18 and they work perfectly.

And I also tried the new ones 310.70 and they didn't work very well and I went back to the

296.18

I installed the 310.70 nvidia drivers on my x505-q898 back in Dec.  It has been running fine since.  Prior versions did not fare so well and I had to revert to the OEM drivers.

  It is def worth trying them out to see how they do on the x505's.  Always perform a backup before trying them so you can revert quickly if needed.
