Qosmio Laptops

Brand new high end Qosmio  X875-Q7290 and brand new Dynadock U3.0 and I can't get them to connect.  Anybody had similar issues.  I am thinking of returning the Dynadock but really need it to work.  Dispaylink for the iPad works great on the Qosmio!

After many hours of attempting to get the Qosmio to recognize the Dynadock U3.0, I finally tried using my Toshiba netbook.  Alas, it installed fine.

Then I tried the Qosmio again and it recognized the Dynadock and it is now functional.

It seems that the Dynadock needed to download some firmware before it could be recognized by the Qosmio, but it could not update itself until it was connected.  Quite the conundrum.

First Dynadock was defective and failed after 1 week.  Initially was very difficult to install.  Replacement works great and installed easily.
