I own a Satellite L45-S7423. I can tell you this laptop is incredibly slow.
I was thinking maybe a memory upgrade would help. It currently has 1.5GB of RAM.
I did a little research and found that this laptop has a maximum capacity of 2GB in memory. This limitation is a surprise for me since I own another Toshiba laptop with 4GB in RAM.
I've been checking out memory modules and found 1GB and 2GB modules that are certified for L45 laptops.
Is it true that this dual-core-Windows-Vista-installed laptop supports up to 2GB in memory? If so, why is that? Aren't current machines supposed to have greater memory capacity?
