I purchased a Toshiba Canvio 1TB external hard drive (USB 3.0) last May and it has been working great. Unfortunately, one of the connector pins recently broke, so I can no longer use it with the supplied cable. I took the drive out of the box and realized that there is no SATA connection and the USB connector board seems to be soldered to the drive motherboard. The model is - MQ01UBD100 . How can I recover the data?

I have the same device from a year ago. I had no chance to recover the data by software and my hope was that they try opening it, I see that I can not recover the data that way. If I open lose the warranty. No solution? How little customer support from Toshiba, will never buy anything again.
