Intel My Wifi Technology: Adapter Not Found & Hardware Radio Switch Off

Every once in awhile, I will be online and all of a sudden that message pops up and my Satellite A665-S6050 Toshiba Laptop will not show any wifi connections available, when I know there should be some available.

Also, every once in awhile, I will be online and all of a sudden my Hardware Radio Switch will shut off on its own.

I have tried to turn it back on, with no success.

The only way I have been able to temporarily fix these problems is by restarting my laptop. However, after awhile, that gets tiring and I would like to have a permanent fix.

Re: Intel My Wifi Technology: Adapter Not Found & Hardware Radio Switch Off

Here's the downloads, specs, user guide, etc, page for your model:

Satellite A665-S6050

If you haven't tried it yet, I would go to the above page, download and install the lateset driver for your wireless card.  Your specs page shows you have an Intel wireless adaptor, so try this:

Intel PROSet/Wireless WiMAX Software

See if it helps. Let us know.

Good luck.
