How can I enable Hosted network supported on my WiFi card?

I have a laptop and I want to creat a virtual access point to use my laptop's Internet on my cellphone but I get this error:

"The hosted network couldn't be started.

I tried to do it by command prompt but I couldn't start hosted network support!! the driver is updated!

What should I do?

Re: How can I enable Hosted network supported on my WiFi card?

1. Which laptop? See the label on the bottom.

2. Which Windows and service-pack level?

3. Open Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and expand Network adapters. Do you see Virtual WiFi Adapter?

Hey dude,

Sorry about this.

Intel had already declared that hostednetwork or wireless access point mode is not support in intel 3945ABG Wireless

Network Cards.

Re: How can I enable Hosted network supported on my WiFi card?

But its seems that we can make Wireless Access Point in Linux with the linux owned particular Drivers.

Using some programs like

1)airmon-ng

2)dhcp3

3)airbase-ng,etc

You can crawl google for some details. But this never ever acheived in Windows.
