Blue ray home network wifi connection

Hi folks,

Have just purchased a BDX3300KB blue ray player.

Have SUCCESSFULLY connected to my wireless router for internet, but Cannot connect it to the Wifi on my laptop to access the stopped media files on my lap top,  any ideas for the windows 7 setting and my blue ray settings, I know I can not use an Ad hoc network but apart from that IM pretty stuck, many thanks Andy

Are they on the same network? You need both the laptop and the Blu-ray player to be on the same wireless network.

I don't see anything in the Owner's Manual (attached) about connecting with a computer.

Streaming from Windows Media Player is described on page 22, which is what he's talking about I believe. However, it also seems like it's a UK model. If this is a known issue, Toshiba support in your region might be able to help.

Ah, yes. It's a Media Server.
