Accidentally deleted REaltek ethernet driver

I accidentally deleted the Realtek ethernet controller driver. I managed to reinstall it but cannot pick up my wireless internet signal. My neighbour can connect to it without a problem. I've made sure the wifi is switched on on my laptop but still nothing :smileysad:

The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C660-10D

It runs Windows 7

4GB RAM

64 bit OS

Re: Accidentally deleted REaltek ethernet driver

I've downloaded all the realtek drivers for my model and reinstalled them but the laptop still isn't picking up a wireless network signal. Any help would be much appreciated :smileyhappy:

Re: Accidentally deleted REaltek ethernet driver

Hi Darren12,

The ethernet driver is not for connecting to wireless.

Take a look into the network adapters again and check if you have a WLAN adapter installed.

If not, you will find the accurate wireless driver in the Toshiba Apps Installer (just type App into search when you click start).

If you have WLAN installed make sure the wireless is on (Fn+F8).
