Hello, I just received my Toshiba Satellite Pro C650 laptop and not able to connect to the internet. This is my first laptop and I'm not too familiar with the lingo. How do I choose which type of connection I want (LAN/Broadband/Wireless). I went into control panel/network connections/wireless network connection/properties/general tab to obain a IP address (and to contact my internet provider to provide you the address). My home and work PC is accessable thru a Linksys router/modem. How can I connect to the internet and what measures do I need to take. Thanks.
Hi - Sorry your having trouble. Is your Linksys a wireless router? More than likely you will want to connect wirelessly.
