l775D - keyboard stopped working correctly when using Bluezone Terminal Emulator program

I have a fairly new (had  less than 2 months) Satellite L775D laptop.

I work as a computer programmer and I use Bluezone Terminal emulation to connect with the mainframe at work.

When using the software tonight, the keyboard suddenly stopped working properly - by that I mean that all keys stopped working except for the function + <keys>.

I feel sure it is something that I've done by mistake but I haven't been able to figure out what that was.

In order to try to fix the problem I selected a different keyboard mapping file and restarted the program, when that did not work I rebooted the computer but that did not work either.

I would like to avoid having to unistall and reload the software if possible as it will be Monday before I have access to a copy of the software (which is at work).

I have used this software before on this computer with no problem.

Re: l775D - keyboard stopped working correctly when using Bluezone Terminal Emulator program

This is odd, I just tried to use Bluezone again and it's working now and I had not done anything that I'm aware of.

Oh well, this is just another instance of computers - big mainframes or small laptops/pc's acting weird for me.

I would like some ideas about what I might have done to cause the problem in the first place (since I'm sure it was user error) so I can avoid doing it again.
