I have a Toshiba Satellite T130-10V laptop. My touchpad suddenly stopped working and now I can only use external mouse. What should I do? This laptop is only about one month old.

Sorry, I think I hit the Fn+F9 which disabled the touchpad. I don't know if this was it or because I also reinstalled the Synaptics touchpad driver, but it works now. But before my touchpad stopped working, the mouse went on a mode where font size was changing all the time and I could not do anything else with the mouse. Then I went to disable the Pinch zoom and perhaps accidentally disabled touchpad also. Anyway, now it works!

I have tried the hot key and the FN key but still no touchpad.  help

we have no specific model to review pulltow, so general data is FN+F9 to turn on/off.  If that fails then reload the TVAP utility.  Even try taking power adapter off and remove the battery, wait 3 minutes, hit the on board power button, then reinstall those components.
