my fn button is not working and i use it to hibernate my computer, control the brightness, and the volume. When i pressed the fn button and one of the f1-9 keys it wouldn't work. Can someone tell me how to fix it and get my fn button to work? Thx a lot

it didnt work, i still cant use my fn button

I've read here that occasionally uninstalling/reinstalling the TVAP more than once works.

Also, try resetting the computer. With the battery and AC adapter removed, close the Power switch for 30 seconds. Re-attach those, press the Power button to turn the computer on, and then immediately press the F2 key while the Toshiba logo is displayed. Press F9 to restore the BIOS default settings, press F10, and then select Yes (Exit Saving Changes). The computer will restart.

it didnt work and i ended up restore my computer but after restoring my computer the hotkeys still didnt work.... do u no nay other ways that can solve this problem? thx

If just after restoring the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media something does not work properly, then it's not due to software. You have a problem in the hardware or the BIOS.
