Hi,

I have got a new Toshiba Portege R830 and the toggle button above the touch pad isn't working. Can someone tell me what driver or software i need to install?

I have tried the Synaptics driver which didnt change anything. I have the flash card utility from the value added package installed but that only enables the function keys.

Can you give the full model number? "R830" is only partial. It should be on a label on the bottom.

I don't see that model in the database. This site only officially supports the US region, so if it's from another region, I won't have any information on it. If that's the case, you might want to contact Toshiba customer support in another region.

Reinstalling the touchpad driver and TVAP is exactly where I would have started.

Try using System Restore to restore a previous restore point from before this became an issue.
