Yo, I've got a Toshiba Satellite A305 with Windows 7.
I was wondering if it's possible to momentarily disable the keyboard while the computer is still on. My cat periodically jumps onto my bed and insists upon standing on my laptop keyboard until i pet him. If I could keep him at bay until I can disable the keyboard, it wouldn't be an issue (he's exited out of some programs in the past).
So yeah, I need to know how to disable the keyboard

I want to disable my keyboard too but I have an A205-S5843...
I made a thread and nobody answered! which sucks...
I tried going into "device manager" and reinstalling the keyboard drive but Windows automaticall re-installs it again! If only some1 could tell me how to stop it from automatically installing that drive both our problems would be solved...

Eh actually I'm asking for a quick way to disable to keyboard that is easily reversible.
Cat tries to crawl on keys
I instantly stop him and disable the keyboard
I pet him for 30 seconds while he's sitting on top of the keys
He then walks off
I enable the keyboard
