If you post here again, please give your COMPLETE model info as in my examples below. As far as PRTSC goes, normally FN+PRTSC will do the job.

It would be quite helpful if you read your User's Guide. I've answered the Print Screen question for you but you will find the instruction on page 75 of the User's Guide. Go to page 119 and read about "System Settings". Then click on the Keyboard sub-category under Settings to change the way the Function Keys (F1 thru F12) operate.

You have a choice if you go where I directed you! See THIS THREAD with pictures. Maybe that will help.

Print Screen copies the screen to the clipboard. You can then paste that where you want it (for example, Paint) and Save As where you want to save it. AFAIK, there is no other way to handle the Print Screen command.

I don't have Windows 8 so can't experiment. Perhaps those who say it can be done will tell you how.

If you hold the Windows key and press the Print Screen button on your keyboard, Windows will automatically save a screenshot in your \My Pictures\Screenshots\ folder. When it takes the screenshot, the screen will dim for a moment.

Thank you very much, Peter. That's the first I've heard of that feature.
