I have a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7472. Just recently (I discovered it today, but haven't used the drive recently so I don't know exactly when it occurred) the CD/DVD drive won't open. It just clicks three times and that is it.
I updated the device drivers. I uninstalled then reinstalled the drive. I did a System Restore back several days to a point when I thought the drive was working. Nothing has worked.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem..Only I'm pretty sure the CD drive is stuck because I dropped the computer on the floor..I know I'm retarded. Well it doesn't open since then..Three clicks and that's it. I tried all the thing the guy above me did..Nothing. Under device management the PC says that the drive works correctly..I guess its just stuck in there...how can I get it to open???? I also already tried the paperclip hole and it doesn't work...Please help
there is no disk in it
