I have managed to delete a driver(s) or something on my A105-S4384... now my SD card reader doesn't work.
When I plug a card into it, the SD reader light comes on... but the computer never acknowledges it.
It might have been the driver titled Texas Instruments ###, but I am not sure.
I downloaded one I thought was right titled Texas Instruments PCIxx21/x515/x12 which shows up in my program list... but I still have no SD reader capability.
Please help!!! What do I do??

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded that and it still does not work. Forgive me, but I think I forgot to mention I'm running XP Pro... if that makes a difference.
Device manager says the SD drive is running properly, but when I plug a card in, the computer doesn't recognize it. The blue LED light does turn on... but it doesn't show up in "My Computer".
Where to now??

I'm running XP Pro...
Oops! My error for assuming Vista. No XP stuff listed for your computer.

Sigh... it still doesn't work.
Any new suggestions?
The LED does come on... not sure if that means anything.
I did update the BIOS a couple weeks ago, but I think that it worked after that. I'm still pretty sure that I deleted the driver like an idiot.
Very frustrated. Please help.

Try using other SD card and it it still doesnt work it possibly a hardware issue where you need to send the notebook to Toshiba Depot Service Center if it is still under warranty ot you may bring it to the nearest Toshiba Authorized Service Provided in your area.

Open Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and look through all the devices for the SD (or other) card reader. Right-click the device and click Uninstall. Reboot and try installing those again.
Haver you tested the card in another reader?

Still didn't work. I tried all of the above. I've tried two different sd cards. I have also tried plugging my external card reader into the USB... still didn't work.
