Re: A505-S6040 WILL NOT POWER ON

My Toshiba Satellite A505-S6040 i3 worked till I turn it off one night and tried to turn on the following morning and

nothing, it would not turn on. No fans, no anything but a LED flash on the top of the keyboard where volume control and eco button is

The power LED light shows when plugged in and the reddish orange light showing the battery charging. When the

power button is pressed all the white LED buttons (volume control, play, pause, ..) light up for 1/2 a second. Then flash of LEDs repeat about every 5 seconds.

Anybody have any ideas or advise?  Thank you

Re: A505-S6040 WILL NOT POWER ON

Turn off your laptop, unplug all wires, remove the battery, and hold the power button for thirty seconds. Afterwards, reattach the battery and connections.

If it still won't start, remove the battery and start with just the AC power. Next try without the AC power and just the battery. Also, check that the RAM is inserted securely. Instructions can be found in your user's guide on page 52 if you need.
