Necessary and unnecessary startup programs

I need to know which of these Toshiba programs I can disable at startup and which ones I have to have to boot up!

TOSHIBA SMOOTHVIEW.EXE

TOSHIBA APP PLACE.EXE

TOSHIBA SERVICE STATION.EXE

TOSHIBA BULLETIN BOARD

TOSHIBA REALTIME MONITOR.EXE

TOSWAITSRV.EXE

TOSVOLREGULATOR.EXE

TPWRMAIN.EXE

Surely there are some of these that do not need to start up when my computer starts up?? Please see attached!  Thank you

Re: Necessary and unnecessary startup programs

I don't believe TosVolRegulator stays running, so it shouldn't hurt to keep that. ReelTimeMonitor is related to the Reel Time application. Try the application, and if you don't plan on using that application, you don't need to have that running at startup.

TPWRMain is related to power management. I'd recommend you keep that.

TosWaitSrv is related to monitoring the hard drive and protecting it from vibrations. I wouldn't remove that.

App Place, Service Station, and Bulletin Board are are related to their respective applications. You can launch them and see if they're things you want to be running. However, keep in mind that Toshiba uses Service Station to notify you of updates. Smoothview relates to the zooming utility.
