I have a Toshiba Satellite E105-S1602. I have Windows 7. It previously used to be owned by someone else. So i was wondering how to change the user name on the laptop. One of the ways i tried to do this, was Control Panel - User Accounts - Change your account name. I managed to change it. The login screen has my user name. However, when you go to My computer - C: drive - users, its the previous owners. So, how do you change the user name in the C drive?

For the name and company registration, it's still the same in Windows 7 as for Windows XP.
You cannot change the <user account name> in the path without removing the user altogether.
c:\users\<user account name>\...
If it's really important to you, I can explain how to move that profile to a newly created user.
