I wouldn't update that unless there's something listed that's fixed.

Maybe something here helps.

HAVE SAME LPT I PUT WINDOWS 7RC ON PETITIONED HDD RUNS GREAT HAVE ALREADY ORDERED WIN 7, AS FOR BIOS 1.90 I ASKED TOSHIBA AND THEY WERE NO HELP. THERE ARE SOME CODE REVISIONS IN 1.80 SO I MITE TRY IT BUT I THINK MOST OF THE PROBLEMS WITH A305-S6916 IS VISTA. I RAN BOOT TIME TESTS ON BOTH OS AND VISTA TOOK OVER 3.5 MIN TO GET TO DESKTOP AND WAS STILL LOADING, WERE AS 7RC BOOTS IN 90 SEC. AND YOUR GOOD TO GO.

HAVE PROBLEMS WITH USB PORTS STOPING HAVE FOND NO OTHERS WITH THE PROBLEM BUT FUTHER RESEARCH I FOUND ICH9M CODE UPDATE IN 1.80 SO ITHINK IT IS GOOD IDEA TO DO IF YOU ARE COMFOTABLE WITH THE PROCESS. SUGUEST DOING BOOT INSTALL FROM DISK. I DON;T TRUST VISTA TO DO ANY THING RIGHT.

When your Win7 arrives, just remember you have to deinstall Win7RC first!
