My Toshiba Satellite P755D-S5384 laptop did not come with a Firewire port and No PC Express Slot.

I'm trying to transfer video from my Canon Camcorder to my laptop and was told by Canon that I must use the Firewire port to transfer, because it will not work via USB connection.  I have no clue which firewire card I should buy that will work best with my computer. 

Please help!
