I just updated the webcam application to the current version 2.0.0.35, and in so doing, have lost the desktop sidebar. This is W7 Pro -64 Anyone know how to get that sidebar back? thank you in advance.

Start/All Programs/Toshiba/Utilities/Web Camera Application. That last click should activate the control sidebar but you still have to hover the mouse near the left edge of the screen to display the sidebar.

FWIW, there is an even later version of the Web Camera v 2.0.3.37 for at least some of the A660 models.  Give me the FULL model info as in my examples below and I can verify that for your model.

Thank you for the quick and courteous reply. Here is the machine info I have on hand:

Satellite A660-BT3N25X

Windows 7 Pro SP1 64 Bit

1. I must have committed a typo .. the upgrade was to v2.0.3.37.
2. I created the problem when I uninstalled 1.1.57 before installing 2.0.3.37.  I reversed 'everything' and then ran the update and the sidebar is working fully and properly.
