Help - I'm a bit of a novice with this. My notebook seems to be missing drivers to enable me to get on the internet. In 'device manager' there are ? marks over 'ethernet controller' and 'network controller. I've tried downloading drivers on my desk top to an external harddrive and then trying to get the notebook to load the drivers from it - no luck. Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong.![]()

Toshiba NB200-10Z (PLL20E-00200JEN)
Toshiba NB200-10Z (PLL20E-00200TG3)
Drivers are here.
These are the two you should be using.
Realtek LAN Driver for Windows XP, 5.742.1125.2009, 11/02/10
lan-20100211135620.zip
Atheros Wireless Lan Driver for Windows XP, 7.7.0.406.2, 31/03/11
Copy the drivers to your local hard drive and install from there.
"No luck" doesn't tell us anything, of course. If something goes wrong, tell us what happens.

I still need some help - in 'Device Manager' I've got a big yellow ?mark in 'Other Devices' -
the first is for 'Unknown Device' and the info that I can drag out of the machine is -
on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Contr
Details : ACPI\TOS6205\5&1A41F741&0
The other is for - Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
Details: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27AE&SUBSYS_FF601179&REV_03\3&B1B
I also seem to have a problem with sound - it is very low and often I get a high pitched whistle.

ACPI\TOS6205
A little googling reveals that to be Bluetooth hardware.
DEV_27AE
That's the Intel chipset.
