Missing drivers after OS downgrade.

[ Edited ]

Laptop model: Satellite C875D-S7120

After speaking with a customer service representative over the phone, I was informed I could downgrade from Win8 to Win7 without any issues.  I formatted the hdd & installed Win7x64 with no problems.

I am missing several drivers and I cannot aquire them from the toshiba drivers page (csd.toshiba.com) because they are only runnable on Windows 8. The issues are:

  • SM Bus Controller doesn't have a driver.
  • USB Controller doesn't have a driver.
  • Ethernet controller doesn't have a driver.

I've ran Microsoft's Fix It utility, and it could not find the drivers for me.If you can point me in the right direction for resolving this issue with drivers, thanks in advance.

Satellite C875D-S7120 (PSCBEU-01100F)

Get your downloads for that PSCBEU part-number family at the European site for the Short Model No. PSCBEE. Plenty of 64-bit Windows 7 drivers there.

The AMD display driver should be installed first. It contains the chipset software (which handles the SM Bus Controller and USB 2). There is a separate driver for USB 3.
