Hi,

I have a Toshiba Satellite M645-S4114 and for some reason the laptop no longer recognizes my D: drive (cd/dvd) player and I can't seem to locate the drive online to install it (the drive is MAT**bleep**A BD-CMB UJ141EL) i tried the troubleshooting function but it didn't work.

Try this Microsoft Fix it.

   Fix problems with CD or DVD drives that can’t read or write media

I also have the same problem with an M645.  I am about runnig out of troubleshooters and the like and can only think of how many $$ to get this one resolved.

Can anyone help on this?
