My friend's computer had all drivers wiped out a while back, and we're trying to figure out how to get the Headphones jack to work again. It is a Toshiba Satellite. The speakers work fine. There's a few other minor things like the keyboard keeps changing settings to type different language symbols, but we're only concerned about the headphones jack at the moment. Any advice/suggestions???

Which Satellite? There must be hundreds.
Which Windows?

I have the same problem. I had to reinstall windows vista on my Satellite P300-161 laptop and my drivers were wiped out. The speakers are fine, but my headphone jack does not work.
I am not sure how to fix this problem- do I have to download a headphone driver or activate something on my laptop?
Any help is appreciated.

Peculiar. What happens when you reinstall the driver?
