Driver for installation of Windows 7

[ Edited ]

I wanted to install fresh Windows 7 installation on new HDD, from Toshiba. Everything went good, till Windows installator couldn't find drivers for CD/DVD...?, without it I can't continue, selecting the DVD with Windows installation or clicking Rescan, doesn't work. Where can I find these drivers to include on DVD, so I can proceed with installing Windows.

(asked on answers.microsoft.com and forums.toshiba.com)

Bootmenu says the HDD is: TOSHIBA MQ01ABF032.

[It's code 19, when installing for CD/DVD, where can I download these drivers?]

[Only HDD is from Toshiba]

So you don't have a Toshiba computer?

Windows installator couldn't find drivers for CD/DVD

Maybe this message?

A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.

If so, see this Microsoft article.

Re: Driver for installation of Windows 7

It didn't help.

  • Burn the installation DVD at a slower speed.

It pops error.

  • Use a better quality DVD to create the installation DVD.

This is good quality DVD.

  • Update the BIOS firmware for your DVD drive.

My BIOS is blocked, same as admin (other problem, I'll be left myself with).

It requires UAC (User Access Point?), which admin, so...

Re: Driver for installation of Windows 7

This forum is for Toshiba computers, Rik. Best of luck in your (Dutch) Microsoft thread.
