My laptop has stopped recognizing that it has a dvd/cd drive.  Have gone through Microsoft Fixit, advised that driver needs to be reinstalled; using Toshiba Board, diagnostics just skips over CD drive like it doesn't exist; all attempts to repair/reinstall driver have failed. Received message that Optical Drive is "Off", but no option for turning it on. Can not use the DVD/CD Drive at all.
