Computer Troubleshooting

New Toshiba Satellite, Windows 7.  Printer icon  on toolbar takes me to printing mode immediately, without an intervening options window where I can specify page numbers, number of copies, etc--as I did on my old computer with Windows xp.  Now I can only print one copy, whole document.  Printer is Brother 2040 laser.  What am I missing?

That icon for the printer is just like the keyboard command...Ctrl-P. a direct command to the printer.

I suggest that you go to File -> Print and then you will have the options.   What app are you in that you try to print ?
